Default boot ruuber (seal)

cant belive how much they cost for a bit of rubber that goes around your boot, 54.00 ouch

i have now pruchased this i do not want a second hand boot seal on my car and i have now found that my leak is not the lights but is indeed the old boot seal and no i did not order from subaru has once again they have advised it would take a couple of days to find the part as mine is an import , it took rcm 10 minutes

Sorry mate - forgot you were trying to rectify a boot leak. Well done for sorting it.... And you can always count on the boys from Hinckley.

So what was wrong with the old boot seal?
Mine leaked, but I pulled it off, put non-setting sealant under it and it's been dry since.
Was yours damaged?

i dont now but i see water coming through so ive just got a new one cant be asked with messing about with the old one
