There are a couple. The guy that bought my Spec C, his brother has one, though they don't come on here often.

Put your name down with Litchfields, most owners tend to sell back to or through him again. Or he can supply one for you himself.

A bit different but you wont go far wrong with this one on paper:

Is a type 20 worth the extra over a normal jdm hatch or best to buy a standard one and modify it myself?

I'd say yes To both questions either buy a T20 or make it a T20 using Litchfields imports.

What ever is the cheapest.

You won't regret it as a really good setup IMHO

I would get a car in standard form then do all the bits to it over 6 months that way you get to appreciate all the changes and improvements over the standard car. not to mention the excitement of parts arriving in the post and having them fitted etc plus you'll have all the original parts to sell and it will most likely work out cheaper.
Type 20 is a great package tho!!

I agree with avove

As said by original OP buy a JDM (jap) car as your base

It WILL be more expensive Too Buy but will end up far cheaper in the end to het a great car . IMHO

How much do jdm hatches go for? Any idea how much the Litchfield type 20 package is to add on to a standard car?

All the info you will need on the type20

http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/s...asp?shopmenu=2

They out line all the extras fitted to it so note it down then go on the shop and add up all the costs of the parts plus labour charges and see if that ontop of buying a used jdm hatch is cheaper then buying a used type20 as according to the web page buying it direct from the as a new car will be £37k

And a whole load more to immy, body work, large Alcon brake kit etc. Will cost a lot more than 3.5k. The earlier type 20 where as you say above but the new one has had a lot more put into.it

I was under the impression it was the same as before and the alcons were optional. What body work is done?

So anyone seen what a jdm hatch sells for, been looking and can't see any for sale. Although at 7k+ before labour I would think buying a type20 as a package would be cheaper than building one yourself
