Default 460BHP Hatch - ultimate road car ?

£25K+ spent on modifications since it was bought new by me from Iain Litchfield imports. Can't think of anything else anyone would need/want to buy for it !
STI European/UK specification. This is the very top model (Euro Premium Spec) which comes with UK Satellite Navigation, Recaro Bucket Seats, tints, keyless entry and button start. Basically the same specification as the 330S, but now with superior handling, braking and power than the "Subaru Cosworth".
Designed/mapped as a reliable very quick, effortless (460ft-lbs torque) road car. 460 BHP at only 1.3 bar on V power. With a simple remap will produce well over 500/500 if required. Sold as per this spec.

ENGINE SPEC. (Engine built by Enginetuner, Plymouth, finished end of July 2010)
COSWORTH parts:
9.2:1 pistons, rods, race bearings, head gaskets, 14mm head studs, Kevlar cam belt, sump baffle plate, high pressure oil pump, front mounted intercooler.
RIC WOOD CNC machined and hand finished flow-tested heads.
LITCHFIELD Twin scroll LM480 ceramic coated turbo. 800cc injectors.
RCM Equal length twin scroll headers and up-pipe.
BOSCH 044 Secondary fuel pump and swirl pot.
MOCAL Catch tank, 44 row oil cooler ducted from bonnet scoop
SFS 60mm intake hose.
PERRIN Billet Parallel feed fuel rails.
TURBOSMART Solenoid.
MILTEK 3" "Turbo back" exhaust + comes with H&S centre silencer so it complies with track day noise limits - 88dB static test when fitted.
Uprated organic clutch
Cold air induction kit and improved ducting, also side vent ducting improved for better engine bay ventilation.

SUSPENSION/STEERING SPEC:
Uprated front strut brace, undercarriage brace.
AST Sportline 2 Coilover adjustable suspension all round
AST adjustable front top mounts
Whiteline parts: antilift/castor bush kit, steering bush kit, rear control bar, rear subframe inserts.
Latest Litchfield "Type 25" geometry settings and suspension spec.
Group N engine mounts
JDM "quick" steering rack, re-valved steering pump (for better feel)

WHEEL, TYRE, BRAKE SPECS:
Speedline 8.5 x 18 silver rims with 2 new and 2 nearly new Michelin SP2 tyres.
Alcon 6 pots 366mm front brakes, Alcon 4 pot 343mm rear brakes

INSTRUMENTATION/MONITORING
HKS Camp 2 monitoring system (cost £1000) displayed through the DVD screen

COSMETIC etc
Fog lights , rear light plastic film, fold down cargo tray, F+R carpet mats, F+R rubber mats, STi mesh front grille, front STi lip spoiler, F+R mud flaps.
Subaru Sat-Nav/DVD.

SECURITY
Trackstar tracker
Thatcham cat 1 alarm
Anti hi jack

Only used on road, ready for track, but never been tracked.
Full service history. MOT'd until Dec 3rd 2012, taxed to end of May.
DOES NOT INCLUDE PERSONALISED REG which is now on retention. Car is on its original 58 plate.

Due to a Subaru garage taking it for a "test" drive with insufficient oil (4 litres instead of 5.5), it has been stripped, inspected and rebuilt with any neccessary parts by Enginetuner. There was slight wear on the bearings which have been replaced, rest of engine is perfect. So the new owner will benefit from a "new" engine.
Now back fron Enginetuner, running in
pics/price etc on http://www.pistonhea...les/3286501.htm
£28500 or near offer.

Lovely car mate and best of luck with the sale!!

Totally in my opinion, I think you stand a better chance if you take the white decals off. Would look a million times better in all-blue form!!!

Free bump for a nice motor!

Cheers !
The beauty of decals is they are easy to remove if you don't like them !
But for those of us who do, they can be left on

Priced to sell - £28950.
Seems late 08 330S are advertised at £20K, so an extra £8K for £25k's worth of upgrades seems fair !!
(Plus there are white Rotaforce rims with R888 + spares available )

Sadly, yes
Time to get a sensible, very low cost toy.

I can guarantee I will never buy another Scooby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 is more than enough when you spent over £100K on them in 10 years (incl buying them)

If I get a Westie for under £10K it will NOT have any mods done by me - only previous owners !

There is a slight vibration on the clutch so the price will include a new uprated organic clutch

Stan, after seeing the car at the Colin McRae weekender I have to say that if I win the Lottery or rob a bank in the near future then I will be in touch.

A very nicely modified car and a real credit to you.
