Lightbulb Subaru BRZ coupe pricing announced - starts @ $24,000

- Goes on sale in May 2012
- Starting price around $24k for Premium and about $27k for Limited model
- Expected ouput: 3-4k units a year

It will be a lot more over here in the UK circa£28k at a guess

UK and USA models will be different, we may only get one spec.

USA sticker price for WRX STi is $34,700, UK Sticker price is £32,995 so if that price comparison carries over and asuming the info on the BRZ is correct for the full spec USA car, you can expect a price of £25,600

It might sell at that, it needs to be under £24K to be a sales success IMHO

The problem for Subaru will be the value of the UK £ to the Japanese Yen, the £ is on it's ****, it's worth half was it was 3 years ago, so efectively the cars are costing twice as much as they did in 2008 to import, which gives Subaru UK no room to play with margins and get the cost down.

Damn shame, as this car should be great, but it wont sell in numbers over here thanks to our current currency being so weak for imports from Japan.

RWD no turbo
Going to be a fantastic car & it will look good with my greenwagon and WRXD

Lower then a Ferrari and Porsche
All road test s are favourable
