Thumbs up

Hello peeps,
I know you won't want to be seen buying the magazine , but check it out in WHSmiths.

I will see those that are going at the Nurburgring...
Best regards

Hey mike, dont shout to loud, someone might hear you. Personally, I would rather have my car on the front of Womans Weekly rather than Performance Ford.

Congrats Mike, I'll check it out. Hopefully bump into you at the next track day.

Blp,
That's next week...

Harj,
No the reason is because (and I quote) "To our knowledge, this is the quickest road-going Sierra Cossie on the planet. Ever."

I know you are on the front of True Grip, I dropped it in astonishment when I opened it up and was greeted by your (wo)manly features...

Always talking crap Fast Ford, that's why I stopped buying it

I guess you had to lower it 80mm and put a 15 grand ICE install to get the old chicken coop in the mag right ? Lol

can I just point out that both 'Mike Rainbird' and his 'car' do not actually exist - they are the anthropomorphisation of the combined RSOC BBS collective imaginations, you should only ever believe what you see when accompianied by a geniune RR graph

..just pulling yer leg.... 'Mike'

This happened to a friend of mine. He took some legal advice and I think he ended up with some compensation. May be worth thinking about.

Hope things work out OK.

Gary,
Yes, power figures are detailed.

GP,
Not my fault what they did and did not print, the figures were provided... Anyway, the speed speaks for itself...

Mike,
Well done, but..........

Isn't this going to hamper the sales of future PF mags!!?? Surely this must be a problem with having Ford's RALLY HERTZ on the front covers!!!!

When you gonna grow up and put that engine in a proper shell.......something like an Escort would do the trick!!!!!!!

actually - I haven't even seen the feature!
(jogs Mikes memory about a certain conversation a few months ago about NA engines and 250bhp power figures etc)

still buildin' it btw mate - not a snifter of a power graph but yet it sits there large as life in my shed without any apparent tendency to disappear in a puff of scepticism

Shaun,
Oh yeah, put the engine in an Escort and watch the top speed drop by 15mph, lunch the teeth of the gearbox in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th AND 5th, have the front diff spit out both drive shafts, snap the transfer chain and chew the rear diff up in to hundreds of pieces, apart form that as usual a well thought out comment from Shaunee...

Shaun,
I am beginning to see a particular theme running through your all your threads... You seem fixated with homosexualty and cross-dressing, which can only lead us to one conclusion...

Why don't you just come "out" and get it off your chest . We all know the g'friend is a front and that she has never seen your pork sword, due to the fact that you can only get it up with people that have "meat and two veg" between their legs.

My car has been on the cover of Top Gear Magazine, AutoCar, Auto Express and The Guardian... I suppose I could park it on/drive it over a copy of Fast Ford too, but that would mean I'd have to buy a copy... (shiver).

If Mikes on the front, it must look very similar to a 1984 copy of Smash Hits......

It does not matter what car you have, getting it on the cover of a Car Mag is a 'kin remarkable achievement

I only managed a small thing in Fast Car about 10 years ago, yes I still have the mag, well several copies & the remains of that car.

Well do to all

... 700 "real gee-gees"? I assume not.

It would need a bit more than that anyway to balance the weight and drivetrain loss differences.

Now, a genuine 450bhp light bodied scooby may have more of a chance...
