Im thinking of selling and might advertise as lightly modified or standard! If I have my H&S decat removed can my spiciest set the ecu to standard, or would jgm have to do it (original mapper)

Depends on your feeling, how you want sell car as standard car or slightly modified
Yes original mapper can revert your map to standard...

Was thinking of giving the buyer the option of standard or Modded!
Can my specialist re set ecu to standard as he would be removing the exhaust ?

Yes that's the best get buyer choices and he will decide...

Your original mapper can do this or your specialist can do this too, really depends on more factors and i would contact both about this and from this you can decide.

depends if the specialist has the correct software and a map off a standard one, most wont have.

I wouldnt charge to revert it to original map.

I get a number of calls from potential buyers looking for cars and they are usually reassured to hear confirmation that I have mapped it as owner has advertised it etc.
I dont think it would be a disadvantage selling it lightly modded, it was mapped a good while ago and proves it is safe and running as it should be.

Spoke to a customer last night on the very same subject, and would pass number on but he was specifically after a blue one.

But......

If a map is returned to standard, surely there is a log or something on the ECU?
