Smaller cm exhaust housing is better spool, higher cm exhaust housing slightly worse spool but you will gain on top end and you will make more power.

SC54 is largest in scoobyclinic range of turbos and Blouch have largest 5.0XT-R which is 620bhp rated turbo, but this bhp too optimistic, maybe 560-580bhp,but still don't think will make this power.

I have the 3" inlet.
I got 520 from the SC54, but my injectors maxed out, so there is more to come when I put the ID1000's in.
620 sounds too much, but don't the american boys quote different figures to us anyway? As in calculate it slightly different?

Here is difference between the 2.4" inlet and 3" inlet on Dom 3.0XT-R

And i forgot to add,Blouch Dominator 5.0XT-R is only available as external gated,4.0XT-R is last from Blouch which is internally gated

It was just on V-Power mate. Next stage is fitting the injectors and upgrading the fuel pump wiring, as Pat did mention he thinks that affects things occasionally so is a good/cheap way of solving any issue there.
Good info there too mate ^^

I’ve run the “polka pickle” XTR 2.5 8cm on the 2.4” inlet on a 2.5 and now a 2.3. Made 480 and 470 respectively @ 1.65 bar. Great road car turbo with good early spool.
The 3” inlet IIRC only really makes a little difference when you’re running 550+
Youve got to weigh it all up- like the 10cm casing gains maybe 20-30bhp but loses 400-500rpm spool. By the time you get to use it it’s all over.
NB. When Enginetuner fitted mine it was noted that it needed a bit grinding off the casing to fit nicely and that it was slightly diff to the many SC 46 units they have fitted. Blouch we’re developing a 7cm cast of their own which was supposed to give the power of the 8cm with even better spool.
For sn honest opinion ringvthem direct for a chat. Blouch that is ✅.
