Anything can fit if you know what your doing, but in answer, NO, they do not just fit straight into the gap of the pre-facelift scoop hole

Looking at it, its not flush inside the hole, so they could of just sat it on top ? If you look at atrue facelift bonnet/scoop, the scoop sits inside the recess of the hole,whereas that one sits on top as you can see the edge of the scoop on top of the bonnet

It could be a custom job, fibreglass one made to fit a pre-facelift etc ??

without seeing it tis hard to tell,but as i say,anything can fit with modification
