A pal of mine recently sold a raptor. Sure it was a 660 but could of been bigger. I had a go on it once and loved it. Very very fast.
I've also been thinking about getting one but am struggling for space.
Heavy as, get the 450 which are so much lighter and as such just as quick, unless you're just doing road mileage.
The 450 uses the mx/enduro engine so is much lighter and has a lower centre of gravity which helps with handling.
Unless you intend doing just high speed runs on tarmac the 450 would be a better bet as an all rounder.
I had a go on a couple of 660/700's in Dubai - it is a little like being strapped to a rocket and someone lighting the blue touch paper wylie-e-coyote style - you just hang on and hope for the best if you are brave enough to give it loads from a standstill or in fact pretty much any speed it will take off.
the 450 would be my choice, in fact may well be my next quad.
yes i have a 55 plate 660 raptor and its awsum the powers great not the best on the road coz its a wheelie machine but of road its brilliant mine is of the roads sorn atm waiting for the snow
