ouch, hoping you're not running in boost too much with the stock turbo on and no map tweek.
I'd go for a panel filter mate, unless youre planning to go over 400bhp at some point.
Put it this way, i've got an induction kit on mine, running a VF35, FMIC etc and i'd happily go back to a standard airbox and panel filter as i've had nothing but maf and fuelling problems with an induction kit on.

This is the RCM kit...
It's a bit tight with the Japspeed kit but I've had no issues with MAFs or running since fitting it a couple of years ago. I have run a dedicated cold air feed and will be adding some additional heat-shielding when I get it back from the bodyshop.

I have a roger Clark kit on mine as well, awesome quality, never had any issues with it or the car although I'm running mafless with simtek ecu so shouldn't have any problems...
