there is never going to be knock control on the orginal simtec but in all fairness you shoudl need it , knock control will only pull back it wont fix the problem of why it is knocking so really if you do get a knock light on your sim tec just ease back and get it check out

Knock control will actually knock down the multiplier, it may just be a bad batch of fuel but if your having fun and dont notice the knock indicator going like hell then your going to kill your engine (probably worth buying a KS3 at the same time )

There are some things in the factory ecu that most aftermarket ecu's cannot do
