Question ECU Box
Hi,

Driving along last night and my (I think it is) ECU box dropped onto my right foot.
I pulled over and 'stuffed' it back up?!

I have a 2001 WRX Waggon Bug eye

How and where does this go?

If its a Subaru then the ECU is under the passenger footwell. What probably dropped out was an alarm keypad.........

its not the ecu, as stated, thats in the passenger footwell under a plate with screws in it.

It's about 7" x 5" x 1 1/2" deep, cadmium sort of colour.
Is this the alarm box then?

Unlikely. How many wires going in/out? Could be something after market. Get a picture.

if you're not paying the yearly subscription find it and get rid anyway (just unplug it) they malfunction after a few years and tend to kill batteries
