I've been thinking about it for a while now. I think if a facelift bumper came up with a splitter already on and in the right colour I would go for it. But otherwise it's just not worth the hassle for me. With a good splitter the old bumpers look pretty good.
This is a Jun style splitter from eBay, was about £70 from memory.

definitely do a full late facelift job on it, you can get hold of everything you need on ebay or here, people breaking or just search the parts: 99-01 grill, 99-01 bumper and crystal headlights and even crystal sidelights (after market) to finish it off i think it looks much better gives you a more modern look. go on autotrader and look at a few green 99-01 impreza's to see how they look there's a saloon green impreza with p1 splitter and foglight covers to thats looks nice.

i like them orig. so just a small splitter in black to match the skirts for me, if you paint the splitter you should do the skirts too or will look like a snowplough lol but then it is nearly winter
