Default lightweight pulleys.

i recently replaced the clutch in my car and also fitted a lightweight flywheel.
im going to change the cambelt soon as its due.
is it worth replacing the cam, power steering and alternator pulleys with lightweight versions as the car revs more freely now i have a lightweight flywheel or are the pulleys pointless expensive bling?

more of a cosmetic thing than performance part. Lightened flywheel is the main gain so save your £ chap.

TBH, its something i've considered too but without proof of their benefits I think i'll save my £140+ and add them later if I can justify it.

I think a decent earthing kit would come 1st for me, after the other stuff on my "to do list"

Anyone have details on the gains/benefits of fitting CDF pulleys?

i've just replaced my crank pulley with a lightened version and the difference in weight is crazy! dont know specifics because i only held them before fitting but it revs soo much easier - i thought it may have been a placebo but it's definitly not - i was going to fit a lightweight fly but heard they're horrible to drive round town?

I've got the lightweight crank pullley and it does seem to rev a bit more freely, more noticable when accelerating in a higher gear like 5th accelerating from 70mph

Fitting a lightweight under drive pulley is going to give the engine quicker rpm as its taking less power to turn the pump and alternator at a lower speed , to be fair fitting a lightweight alternator and power steering pulley won't give any noticeable difference as hardly any weight difference to a standard set

Lightweight crank pulleys that are OE size are ok- but I have been told and read in a few places that underdriven ones are a no-no.......
