Remap
hi just a quick one.I have a 2000 classic and it has been mapped by Powerstation a couple of years ago.
So the EcuTek licence has been paid for.Do i have to go back there or can i get it mapped else where with another mapper.I live near Heathrow Middlesex and i don't want to travel 110 miles to powerstation
Thankyou for any advice in advance.

you can get it mapped elsewhere but the mapper will have to start from scratch so will be more expensive than powerstation tweaking it they charge £120 an hour plus vat and have a rr .some independant mappers dont and you have to book that as an extra so will be close to £500,im in the same position

I'm in the same boat and was quoted £300+ vat by a few places as I wont be going back to Zen for any further work to my car.
If anyone can do an ECUtek map cheaper than this i'd be interested in a price

Incorrect. If you've had it mapped aleady then you've paid the £150 for the license but if you go anywhere else other than the original mapper then the map cant be read and will need to be done from scratch, so you have to pay for mapping time. Granted, this is less than one that hasnt been mapped, but not by much.

Missed you at Carnetix in Melton Mowbray a couple of weeks ago Simon, was going to chat to you about it then if Glenn had told me you were going to be there.
If you had to do a map for me (MY00, VF35, FMIC, walbro, CAI, de-cats etc) what sort of price would I be looking at? PM me with details chap.
