That sounds about right ive seen a few on the show sell for over the top money,i guess they have to make it look good or it would all seem pretty pointless.
I`m pretty sad,as are most of us i guess, LOL and have watched all the wheeler dealers shows, the 1st series with the capri etc i think were genuine buyers, but as the show progressed up the market, the buyers have been "found" to get a happy ending to the show etc, shame really.
When i watched it on Wheeler Dealers i just couldn't get how anyone could think those stripes or the dreadful signature things would look good. Were the production team on drugs. The stripes and signatures look more suited to a Fiat chinquetento.
They bought it off a dealer on the show, and dealers buy as trade, so not counted as an owner.
So if its true it was "sold" to the production staff, it was probably done so as trade aswell, and then now a trade sale with the latest seller, even though there is no indication of it being a dealer.
