Exclamation DECENT DOUBLE-DIN DVB TV / DVD / MP3 HEAD UNITS...???

Can anyone recommend any - with a decent screen? Do any have at least 1280x720px (or 1366x768px)?

Also, is DVB TV in a car worth having - or are the aerials not up to it for reliable reception i.e. signal vs no signal LOL, etc.?

looks pretty good to me, the model with the complete touch screen looks good too but slightly dearer

Some Headunits with DVB TV are great as my mate has one in his motor, Its a Kenwood but not sure of the model, It worked fine parked in a field watching the F1 on the McRae weekender, But i guess it`s like most things in life, You get what you pay for.

all depends on what you want to spend chap, money talks with these things.

my friend has an Xtrons DVD headunit which was £125 brand new and for the money its amazing. Bluetooth phone built in, Ipod, usb, rear camera, dvd, tv, etc etc.

Some of the Xtrons ones don't fit unless you cut the dash.

The new jvcs are good, I've always been a fan ever since I had minidisc but I did get the 830 and the handsfree was crap and the menu very slow but it sounded good and played all my films and would work with cams etc

I'm told the new nt30 which you can get for 550 is very good uses windows and very fast to boot fast menus and front comes off mega bonus

Thanks for the replies.

I don't wanna spend, say, more than 200 notes tbh. Pref, south of 150.

Are there any at that ballpark that WILL fit as intended in the double-DIN hole, out of the box so to speak lol? (Can't be doing with cutting up the aperture, etc. )

Car is a MY99 STi 5.
