Need a green stripe MAF MY00 URGENT!
I know this should be in wanted/technical but i'm desperate!
Cleaned my MAF at the weekend and stuffed it so a mate said he had a spare one I could have. Fitted it today and its thrown up the CEL straight away and doesnt run right, plus it doesnt have the green stripe on it so its no good.
Getting mega desperate as I'm supposed to be going away in it Friday and dont want to run it as it is.
I got offered one on here at the weekend for £25 posted and i'll happily pay £30 if someone can send me it next day delivery so its here by Thursday or if you're local to me (leicester/notts) then I'll come and get it.

Hi mate, had no signal so it diverted to my other phone. I've ordered one from Scooby Parts but wouldnt mind a spare anyway.

Weird thing is, I looked on the side of mine and cant see any numbers at all, but it has the green stripe.
My mate sent me a brand new one with the part number you've put, but when I put that on the car today the check engine light came on straight away and it doesnt have the green stripe.
Doing my nut in coz I need to do a 400 mile trip at the weekend and have to fix this

Just a thought,did you reset the ecu and do a fault scan with the wires under the dash after you installed your mates one.

Well i'm off to Carnetix in Melton tomorrow with my 2 (or 3) mafs in hand, depending on wether Scoobyparts deliver the one I ordered.
Hopefully they can get it running ok again.
