2nd clutch in 4weeks :(

Default 2nd clutch in 4weeks :(

just when to take my scoob out after fitting the FMIC and the clutch whent strait to the floor before i even started the car call the bloke who fitted it said must be the box so new clutch again and new box are they all this unreliable ? or am i just unlucky ?

Sure you haven't got air in the system or a split hose? Can't really see a reason why a gearbox would cause this!
Is the spring connected to the clutch fork?
Is the slave cylinder located correctly?

the bearing's come out the clutch you can see it 2nd times it's happened thats why this clutch was fitted

just need the car on the road trying to fined some1 to help me drop it over but no luck so far

not really the fitters fault if the unit is faulty? - if so id sent back to manufacturer

sounds unlikley tho, sounds like its fairly likley there a fault somewhere causing the failure

id be more interested in trying to find that

well i no the box is on it's last legs so just thinking new box and clutch he's got me one already been really helpful so far just hope it's all it needs

well just dropped the car off hows that for service taking the car in on a sunday just said to him just fix it new box clutch whatever just fix it please

all sorted now running grate i'd destroyed the gear box lol the clutch was ok it was the bearing so new box and running like a dream ken at scooby split did the work and can not fault it

tell me about it just blow a boost pipe on the motorway on the way home dont think i got it on right cos only making 0.9bar now was 1.2 before ???
