Cool

What is the best price anyone has got for a set of 205/50/16 Potenza So2s in the midlands/ Staffordshire? Are these still one of the best tyres for the Scooby?

Also has anyone changed the standard front pads for something a bit harder to hopefully reduce the fade and improve the stopping power? Do they make more noise than the standard pads and how easy are they to fit?

Names of suppliers and phone numbers would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hello there

I can thoroughly reccommend Tyres Northampton - they are cheap and the service is the best! They do a lot of work on Scoobs, One of the guys there owns one and they are enthusiasts/enthusiastic.
You get good unbiased advice from them.

I had the EBC Disk & Green Stuff brake upgrade - £ 375.00 and worth every penny.
Took them 30 or so minutes to fit it!

Before o changed to the EBC set-up I went through two sets of front pads and disks in 34K miles on my MY99 Turbo - no track days!

No connection with them other than i trust them to work on my car and they are nice people to do business with.

Call 01604 588599 and ask for Mark or Malc, they will see you right.

Paul
