The stereo in Emmas bugeye was doing her nut in so we bought a double din dvd. Took the brackets off and fitted them to the new stereo but it wouldnt fit through the opening/dash so she advertised it on ebay.

Found a buyer locally who came round and bought it, but we left the flippin brackets in the box and now the buyer has sold it on to someone else.

Now we cant find a pair of double din brackets for love nor money and she's got a big hole in the dash where the stereo should be.

Anyone know where you can get em from? tried emailing breakers etc but having no joy

I'd be eternally grateful as now shes making that sort of whining noise now, you know, the one that women make when something isnt done NOW!

I know that noise only too well my friend. It's the sort of noise that makes you want to swing a left hook in their direction isn't it. Bloody women !!!

Seems wierd that the thread says "Wanted Bugeye double din brackets" and 50 people have looked, why look if you havent got them???

Anyway, Hendo on Midland Scoobies has sorted us out, apparently he had a Sunday afternoon rummage in the shed, oooh errrr!

I had a similar problem when i changed my centre console from the early blobeye to the 05 facelift version.
The radio brackets didn't fit so i tried to get some from the breakers etc. and after wasting loads of time looking i phoned the stealers and got some new ones next day for £15.

I sold my old centre console complete with radio brackets on ebay 3 weeks ago.
