Default Midnight servicing

Finally got scoob serviced last night finished at 1 am not the easiest with a torch got my oils delivered at 11 pm last night already had everything drained had to fill gearbox and engine and fit oil filter. Filling up was fine trying to fit intercooler back on different story Got it sussed now easiest way i found was refit everything apart from turbo to intercooler hose, then get a mahoosive flathead and prise against intercooler and lip on hose (standard intercooler hose ). Job done only took me 2 hours to refill oils, fit oil filter, and refit intercooler Still not bad when you cant see jack if missus didnt need car to take little fella to nursery it would have been left, and i waited till 6am to refit undertray no way i was tackling that in pitch black

What a strange time for an oil delivery - or is that normal up there in Scootland
As said, why remove the IC? Although I can see the temptation if you haven't got a piece of hose to go from the oil bottle (1 litre?) to the G/box dipstick hole.

When you're having trouble re-fitting the IC and allowing plenty of drain time and factor in tea breaks, 2 hours isn't unusual. It's your own time!

garage that supplys oils are good with us one of the guys always drops parts off. But he went to pictures and forgot i had to remind him i had no engine oil, no oil filter, and no transmission oil. He was due to come round at 6pm so i drained everything 30 mins before he was due to arrive. Lesson learned though hes normally spot on thats why i went ahead and drained everything.
