Default Windscreen stone chips

Guys

Is it possible to do anything with these.

I was hit by a stone this morning, but unfortunately the thing has somehow put about 4 marks up the screen - must have been spinning or something?

Depends how bad they are but check out the likes of auto windscreens etc as they do chip repairs if you are fully comp (its free).

Same thing happened to me mate within the first week off owning my new scooby, two tiny chips on the windscreen along with marks on the bonnet where the stone must have hit the bonnet area and travelled up- was gutted but not as gutted as finding a screw in the side wall off the tyre just the day after !!!

anyway as far as I know if they are not too bad can be fixed but was advised that only if its on passengers side, best bet is to pop in to one off these windscreen places and they will tell you they and then.

I had one in my first week as well.bloody skip wagon.
It was dead centre of the screen and a bit bigger than a match head. The AA repaired it no problem but it does still stand out.
Subaru glass is sooo easy to scratch and chip.It would probably last longer if it was made from jelly babies.

Danny.

I was told they can't repair them if they are closer than 3(?)", which my worst ones are
Got loads of others as well, so waiting for it to crack then get a new one.

Isn't it an MOT fail if it's in your line of vision?
