I always enjoy a mapper at work, and I'm only driving the car...

Good to see that the car is as good as you hoped Roy.

Well the car is finally mapped. A massive thank you goes out to andrew car, firstly for mapping the car after work and secondly for doing such a thorough job, this is the second car he's done for me and again it's turned out great. Spent about 2 and a half hours tinkering with different settings, resulting in a very smooth delivery which pulls to the red line.

We did try pops and bangs but the system on the car along with the prodrive cat simply quiets it down too much. Pity really but I don't want a super loud system.

Also fitted the launch control map, may try it eventually lol

all in all a great experience and a much more drivable car. The over boost originally was due to the wrong size pill being fitted and we believe it has a newer spec td04 fitted due to the figures it was pulling.

Top Bloke !

If you ever needed some pre-map work doing, then I can recommend both Andrew and Brian, both work from the same unit in Lower Darwen.

My example was, drop car off at Brian's, he installed new engine, turbo, headers, intake, etc etc, Andrew plugged it up to then made sure it was running sweet, and then after a few more miles between Andrew and Brian making sure it was running as it should, Andrew and Brian then mapped the car for me!!!

A superb service for those that are short of time, or just want to hand the car and keys over with a boot load of goodies and get them installed and mapped without the hassle of getting someone else to do it, and then limping the car to Andrew!.

Does anyone know if Andrew will travel? I bought my car from a guy in Preston who used Andrew, but i'm in the midlands so it's a fair old trek for me for any map tweaks.

Thanks

get it on a rolling road or start saving for a new engine, and I do hope nothing goes wrong as he never returns to put it right.
