Followed there progress on NASIOC and from what I have seen the larger 35 does not compare to Clinics/Blouch offering. I run a Clinic billet and it goes quite well

Its a P1 with a full engine rebuild on an EJ25 with Darton liners, forged / balanced internals, 6 speed box, triple plate clutch, 1000cc flow matched injectors, etc, etc.

Turbo is fitted with 0.82AR housing, and full turbo / exhaust headers / downpipe are Zircotek coated.

Running 1.5 Bar for that power level.

I dont have RPM figures as i havnt picked it up yet, it was only mapped and measured today.

647bhp @ just 1.5 bar on road fuel ?
Something sounds amiss there ! I've mapped a GTX35/82 myself and it didn't make anywhere near that at that boost, in fact it took nearly 2 bar to crack 600bhp on Vpower.

You sure you mapped a GTX and not a GT? The GTX flows up to 20% more...

Thats the figure given by David @ API, and it was mapped by Bob Rawl today

It was pulling about 500 previously on a smaller turbo, so sounds about right to me.

Doing some quick calcs - 647HP requires circa 65lb / min of air - seems well within the spec:

Ratio of 2.5 = 1.5 BAR boost as i understand it.

Would be interesting to see which dyno this took place at! Mine did 600 on rcm rollers less than 2 bar but certainly not at 1.5 and you know what its like!

And who'd stop there ? If it does that at 1.5 what would it do at 2 bar, 700 on VPower ?

Don't mind that....

I will upgrade to whatever he's got if I can get 647 @ such low'ish boost....makes your's, mine and other's look a tad "inefficient" on our 2.35s?

It was on the API Impreza Dyno. I havnt picked it up yet so possibly the boost figure is wrong. I was previously running 2 bar on a smaller Turbo

It does have Darton liners like Oil Rig legs and forged, balanced almost everything on the power train, so hopefully it lasts a while.
