Std Recirc valve question???
Since fitting my FMIC i haven't been able to get my dump valve to work properly, even tried different ones but no joy, they only work uneless im on full chat, and im not a fan of the turbo chatter noise when driving around slowly.
I have made an adaptor so that i can connect a OEM recirc valve (big thanks to BrownPantsRacing for the valve) to my FMIC pipework and all is well, works at low pressure now also.
My question is do i need to recirc this back to the intake or is it ok to just let it vent to atmosphere? it actually it makes quite a nice noise compared to my original B.O.V, a little more discreet
Hasn't cured my compressor surge at about 3k revs in higher gears though

Never mind i just found out for myself and took it for a drive. Its not something i'd advise anyone else to do
If you ease off the throttle even only slightly it dumps all the pressure and feels like you slammed the brakes on.
live And Learn. Recirc for the win!!!!
