Default Blobeye owners - whats your spec ??

WRX Blobeye owners let me know your engine mods / power ?? as part off my own ongoing project car will have :

Blitz nur spec cat back
Scorpion decat centre pipe
k+n panel filter
Forge dump valve
HRC255 fuel pump
sti decat downpipe

and finally a visit to Trackound in Edinburgh for a remap which will hopefully produce something in the region off around 280 BHP which compared to the standard 225BHP will make a nice addition !!

so okay fellow Blobeye owners whats your engine spec / estimated power ??

Had MY03STI ppp about a month and I tell you what I know/got receipts for.
3" full decat exhaust ( no receipt so don't know what make)
Panel filter (what type not know but I'm having a look later)
Balieys dump valve
ECU tek remap and print outs to prove 323 HP.
From what I have read on here seems a bit low for mods as some think should be getting 440 ish.
I'm booked in at Scoobyworld for a cambelt and service on Thursday and I know she has been there before with the receipts I have so I'm hoping they can tell me more.
And while I'm there advise me on hitting 380 to 400 as that's what I'm after, I nice fast road car.

Did you mean 340ish? I had a baileys DV on mine and was told to get it off soon as by APi as their not good. They do tend to vary on power mine was only running 310ish with the same as yours.

Told the same thing on my PPP, I have a turbo smart super sonic and was told to rip it off and put the OE back on when I got my service @ FB Tuning.

i like the looks

if you
read a recent project thread, then it appears there isnt any benefit!

it was a hot day when i had it mapped with the TMIC. so in good ol' ebay auction style the FMIC will add 100 bhp but i chose to be more conservitive and only add 5 or maybe i should take 5 off!!

Here are the modifications carried out to the drivetrain on my Spec C, it hasn't been RR'd yet but I reckon around 420 BHP with a similar amount of torque. With a twin scroll it's not about the BHP it's more to do with the instant acceleration.

Mahle Power Pack Plus 2618 Forged Pistons
Manley Sport Compact Forged Connecting Rods
ACL Race Main, Thrust and Big End Bearings
Cometic Uprated Head Gaskets
ARP 11mm Head Stud Conversion
RCM Water Pump
Uprated Thermostat
Milltek 3" Exhaust System With Sports CAT
Cosworth Kevlar Timing Belt
RCM 12mm Uprated Oil Pump
Samco Connecting Hose To Induction Kit
Samco Coolant And Ancillary Hoses
Samco Turbo Inlet Hose
LM400 Twin Scroll Billet Wheel Turbo (with some further options installed)
APS Front Mount Intercooler
APS Dual BOV
APS Cold Air Induction
Hyperflow Coolant Overflow Resevoir
Perrin Catch Can
Mocal/Setrab Competition Oil Cooler
Advanced Automotive Phenolic Manifold Spacers
Carl Davey Header Tank Spacers
RCM Timing Belt Guide
CDF Racing Pitch Mount
Revotec Direct Cold Air Feed To Induction Kit
CDF Racing Lightweight Pulley Set
NGK PFR7B Spark Plugs
RCM Uprated Fuel Pump
650cc Flow Matched Injectors
3 Port Boost Solenoid
Ecutek Easy ECU & Deltadash
STi/AP Racing Grp N - 6 Paddle Ceramic Clutch
KS3 Knock Analyser
Simtek ECU With Maps For 99/97 RON Fuel, Launch Control And Anti-Lag

It's capable of running a lot more power but with the way it performs now I wouldn't want to 'ruin' the power delivery with a larger turbo.

On your OE ECU you can have two boost maps:Low and high boost, but not two fuel maps.
For two fuel maps you will need something like SimTek,Autronics,Syvecs, link,Gems and others

Okay thats perfect mate would be happy enough with that as like the idea off high / low boost !! just wonder how it normally works ie.would low boost probably just feel like the car as is just now just now and the high boost option would provide the real power ???

also have been advised that using the rear window demister switch is a common method off using for the high / low boost switching just wonder what I would actually require hardware wise to allow me to switch between the two boost options, anyone able to provide a link to the neccessary hardware required ??

thanks guys.
