Default Will this be ok ???

I've removed the heatshield that sits above the exhaust which protects the fuel tank. It rattled terribly so had to come off.
So I've been thinking of ways to protect the tank from the heat of the exhaust and decided on this option.

Used some heat wrap and some copper binder to hold in place.

Do you think this method will suffice or should I try something else ??

Thanks,
Matt.

Typical! - have a look at the cat heat shield - assuming your car has one, if not could be the internals of a box failing - although you exhaust looks mint. Other things - turbo heat shield that was always a favourite for rattling at certain revs

Thanks Zohan. I'm going to investigate further this week, it appears to be coming from the rear of the car. I've removed the heat shield from above the back box so can't be that.
Bloody old cars hey, lol.

No jack and tools in there buddy, all stripped out including every inch of sound deadening, which is probably why I can hear every bloody rattle, lol.
