Hey folks

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to paint the manifold on the car,
Have been thinking of painting it but not being mechanically minded and not having any tools I was wondering if anyone has done this without removing it from the car??

Your best bet is to buy another manifold and send it away for powder coating, then use your old manifold as a guide to replace everything after its done.

Be very careful. I powder coated mine and didn't clear out all the shot blast. Completely destroyed the pistons. Spare manifold-£1. Cost of my ignorance-£4000

I never had mine shotblasted I just acid dipped it to clean it , fully aware of the circumstances if do though good point to mention all on my project thread .
