I'd go for the Yellows as a minimum fella.

Depending on your mods you will probably be better off with the Bluestuff pads if your driving your car hard most of the time.

I have never been impressed with ebc stuff I have had on other cars and discs are overpriced in my opinion new bluestuff gets a good review, I would get some Kevlar pads from Godspeed over red or yellow but if you want to spend a bit more go for the blues

I've got yellow stuff with drilled and grooved up front, huge diff from standard. Not looked into blue but I went with yellow as my brother has them on his saab and that thing stops on a penny from any speed

I've had red stuff on my previous car with grooved discs & they were crap. They only worked ok when the car was thrashed around & the brake pedal was constantly being used into corners. Will never get them again.

For the sake of a few more quid, I would go with the EBC Bluestuff NDX.

Excellent pad.

Give us a call to order on 01462 600 241 (Yellowstuff and Redstuff also available if required)

as above ive got red stuff pads,( not fitted by me )
i believe they are track pads really, they are rubbish when cold but when they are warmed up they are quite good but not really suited to normal driving.

More or less what my mate told me.

I was going to order some from him and he told me not to get them but to get yellowstuff.

Even when I insisted he wouldn't sell them to me!!

Mates eh!!

No excuses for misinformation in that case. Name?

We don't just talk about pads or hear about them, we try them first hand ourselves. EBC Bluestuff NDX work great from cold (unlike many track pads) and just get better with heat.

They are fitted to our own car (daily driver + used on track) and have been since the NDX pads were first released.

Check with supplier rather than use first hand experience?

so you don't trust the people who make the product to know best.
sounds like you talking rubbish to me.

its a track/racing pad for a reason. they loose heat and will not function to there optimum. unless you hooning around. (not possible on the road)

He's worked there for over 20 years and always tries out the pads on his own car.

I'd still like to try them for myself as they get lots of praise on this forum.

Until you have tried the Bluestuff NDX yourself your theories and hearsay are fairly pointless.

Just for your information EBC say "The biggest advantage of EBC Bluestuff NDX is their bite from cold and progressive brake feel and the ability to bring a car to a complete stop. This has led to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation approval of R90 which is now completed and certificates are being obtained (during July 2011)."

I used the Yellows, a pretty decent pad by all accounts. NDX is better though. We sell them both, so no bias either way, just sharing my experience with you.

There's a new pad in development at the moment specifically for track days which i'm told is going to be really good.
