Default BMW wheels on a Scoob?!

Hello guys just a quickie, will 5 series BMW wheels fit on a 01' Subaru?! There not BMW own brand there made by rondell, I just had to fork out for a new set of 4 pots all around plus pads, welding and some other stuff and I need 2 new rear tyres!! I left myself skint for the tyres now! My tyres on my 18's are 225/40/18 and the BMW are 235/40/18 I could swap the tyres but I don't think they will fit correctly?
Any help appreciated!!
:-) cheers W!

Offset for a rwd BMW will probably be unsuitable as BMW I have seen are more outset than in, what width are your sub wheels as 235 might fit ok just check with a tyre fitter think 8 inch wide are required for 235 tyres though as 2005 onwards jdm have 8x17 and 235 tyres whereas earlier cars are 7.5 inch wide with 225 tyres

Thank you for a quick reply! that's a shame o have my old wheels off my BMW but they have brand new tyres on! The Scoob sits on 225/35/18's and the bmws on 235/35/18 I could call up a tyre company in the morning and see if they will go on ok but the 225's sit flush with the rim itself so I don't know how the 235 would be :-/ worth a shot thought!! Shame I had so much to do on her for the mot! I have only owned the car a few months!
