Thumbs down So the STI has gone into ScoobySpares for a health check....

So... my new/new to me WRX Sti has gone to ScoobySpares (was scoobyteknix) in Fleetwood for a health check (always gets me nervous)

I got the car Thursday from Graham Walker with 3 months warranty. I hope they don't find anything nasty otherwise ill have to get Graham Walker to pay

Seem like really nice lads down there and never heard a bad thing about them!

Wish me luck dudes and hope that i get my car back tomorrow trouble free lol.

I have terrible luck so probably not!

Cheers,

Shep!

Most dealer warranties only cover mechanical breakdown also don't cover wear and tear items usually loads if get out clauses and generally not worth the paper they are written on so let's hope all ok. I learnt this by experience

I didn't ask. If its just a check over I imagine an hours labour - £40-£50 I imagine. Worth it all day long to find out how te car really is. Imagine if the turbo was dieing and I found out after 3 months.

Just had te call. Car is fine except from the suspected goosed gearbox. Getting then to start te full service from now minus the cambelt as engine was rebuilt 2k ago and getting them to put in one of te later gearboxes. Oh and put on a standard air filter. £1k all in which I think is fair as I knocked £700 off Graham walker for a straight swap same gearbox and this ones is costing £750 and it's £250 for a service.

Get the car back Saturday finally a nice gearbox!!!!
