Default TSL 333 why am I stressing?

Hi guys wonder if you can help, just bought a mint 2005 STI with TSL 333 upgrade carried out when it had 1000 miles on the clock. (previously 265bhp) Cars only done 37k and hasnt missed a beat. Serviced every 12 months without fail - just had cambelt etc. For some reason im getting more and more worried reading about engine failures, broker pistons etc etc. Should I be getting my Subaru serviced more than every 12 months? im aware TSL have a good reputation. Im only doing approx 4k miles per year and drive it sensibly. What would you suggest as I said it drives perfect so maybe I should stop stressing and just enjoy it? thanks...

Service as per the handbook using a reputable oil..........kick the typres and light the fires

a TSL 333 upgrade will hardly have the engine and transmission breaking out in a sweat LOL

There's no point in getting it serviced more often than every 12months if you only do 4k a year, having said that, oil in a car can become quickly contaminated if the car is used for mainly short runs hence the low mileage where the oil never reaches temperature,

however, if the car is used like mine as a weekend toy, (i did 3500 last year) and you are running it up to temp, then unburnt petrol and water vapour gets burned off anyway so no worries.

A track day car will obviously need more frequent servicing though for obvious reasons.
