Default Brembo brake pads - How much!!!

Im looking at getting some brake pads for my 05 sti. Will be going for some fast road pads but thought i would see how standard Brembo's compare price wise. First search on the net came up with set of front Brembo pads for £58. I then phoned my local main Subaru dealer to see what price they were there. I was quoted £223 for the same set of front Brembo pads. And £205 for the rear set. I double checked with him that it was just the pads i was after (not discs, or with fitting) and he repeated what he said the first time. The only defence of his price was 'thats what they are'. Have i just learnt my first lesson of Subaru main dealers or have they made a mistake??

Anyone doing a good deal on a set of pads at the moment?

Yeh Brembo branded pads are expensive, there are lots of other options for the Brembo calipers though, i like EBC pads on mine. I have used the Yellows and now using Blues, very good.

Where did you find front Brembo pads for £58?

Cheers,

I think that site 'nextdaybrakes' is somewhat dodgy. I think its impossible to get brembo pads for that cheap.

Here is another option

http://www.ddmperformance.co.uk/detail.php?item_id=26

http://www.ddmperformance.co.uk/detail.php?item_id=27

Not cheap but very good Quality pads.
The delivery for both would be £12.00

Thanks for that. Does seem very cheap for genuine Brembos. Has anyone used nextdaybrakes.com?

Cheers,

Ian.

In your first post you mentioned fast road pads , these standard pads are not really up to spirited driving and will end up fading , I can offer you various spec pads to suit different driving styles , we are offering our kevlar sport front and rear pads for your car for £99 with free delivery ( yes that is front and rears )

Front and rear Performance friction Z rated pads for £159

Bluestuff NDX front and rear pads for £239.66 with free delivery

Or front and rear Ferodo DS2500's for £285
