As above.

When posting for advice on here you need to be clear as to what car you have, model year, what mods it has already, if any, how old it is, how many miles is useful, and EXACTLY what you want to achieve.

But Peter is right: FMIC plus i/c needs a remap. Without it, you could be in trouble and cost yourself big money. If still using your MAF, induction kits can cause probs, best to seek professional advice, rather than just ask on here.

You will get answers here, but there are always those who say, "Do XYZ, it was fine on my RS Turbo........", and it won't be them paying for any rebuild

I think i'm right in saying he needs an induction kit not a panel filter as he's switching to a front mount intercooler.

Hi all, Sorry about missing the important parts off. Right ive got a 2002 bug eye WRX running at 320BHP. I've got fitted a td05 16g full de cat exhaust uprated fuel pump and injectors and has been maped. The fmic is my next step in progression. Oh and how much we saying for the K&N?? Cheers james

Are you going to convert to a blow through MAF? If not you are going to need a Cold Air Intake Kit, this puts the filter in the inner wing. There are two reasons for this; 1. to draw cold air in rather than warm air from the engine bay. 2. The length of pipe on the CAIK allows any turbulence to be reduced thus allowing the MAF to read the airflow correctly. I run a bugeye STi with FMIC but use a GEMS ECU which uses a MAP sensor so no issues BUT when I went to get the OE ECU OS mapped with the induction kit on the MAF housing the lambda was here there and everywhere caused by the turbulent airflow through the housing,so could not be mapped.
