Hi all i'm considering buying a td05 20g from them and wondered if anyone on here had used them ? They work out at £4oo brand new delivered . Looking at others on fleabay they're selling from as little as £200 which i wouldn't touch with a barge pole .Cheers Neil.

 

£400 still sounds cheap, a good quality td05 20g from the likes of Harvey is £850, you pay for what you get. Dont forget the cheap 1's can take your engine with it as well, so if you want to chance it, thats your decision

 

On few forums these turbos have mixed reviews,some said are OK after 20k miles,some said after 2000miles has failed.

Cheers Jura. I've spoken to harvey smith and he may be able to rebuild my fp green so i'm going to wait a while .

 

Hi there if Harvey will rebuild your turbo,this will be your best bet.
eBay turbos are unpredictable in most cases.

Thats what i think as well but money is tight and when needs must and all that .

 

Really depends how much will cost rebuild...

I've sen few guys bought eBay 20G and then this guys just rebuilded/balanced and using him few months.

Main problem of eBay turbos are not properly balanced(some touching the cartridge),parts used in turbos.
