Hi chaps, looking for some thoughts on a price for a friends car. He's not a member on here as he's one of the remaining few who doesn't have Internet (unbelievable I know, lol).

Basically he rang me tonight and said he's been thinking about selling his Impreza. Only because it never gets used, he's only covered 4000 miles in 2 years of ownership....

The car is a 54 plate UK STI in the common blue with gold wheels. Its just clicked over to 50K and has full Subaru service history. Cambelt was done at 47K.
The car has had just 1 previous owner and apparently he worked for Prodrive. As a result the car had the full PPP kit fitted from new and has no other mods apart from some fancy morette style front and rear lights (not to my taste but each to their own hey).
The car is mint, honestly it's unmarked. Completely original throughout apart from a lamco boost gauge on the steering cowl and a fancy cd/DVD thing.

So, any thoughts on what it's worth ? I've got a figure in mind but wanted some opinions from you guys first.

If it were me i'd whack it up for £8500 and open to offers, probably end up going for around £7500.

is it a widetrack?

I wish I had the money, would buy it in a blink. Should go for a fair price and quickly with that type of history.
