This **** really pi$$es me off. I know it's been said many times before but who the **** do these people think they are???? We work our bollocks off to pay for our cars, not to mention the labour of love involved building them, and these degenerate scumbags think it's fine just to come along at steal it. They should bring back corporal punishment, starting with removing the hands of car theives.

Reg number would be good for starters if you have it mate as well as any unusual/easily identifiable parts or modifications.
Have posted it on Manchester Classic Ford website here but not sure if you need to join to view it.

I spotted a rs2000 identical to this car earlier today in Tilbury Essex and it was being driven pretty hard! Can you post up more info about the car and anything that can confirm it being the exact car, ie a window sticker or something stupid like a scuff mark. If i spot it again i will call the police as it is a car new to the area and likely to be the missing one.

Just seen the PH thread, hope this is the one, I would say its pretty certain as there arent many Mk1 RS2000's in orange that happen to turn up in barns with no identity a year after being stolen, barn finds arent all shiny with hay scattered on them, it looks like its in a bloody nativity rather than a barn !
Hope the owner gets reunited.

The car in the links above looks really
Looking at the pics its far too shinny/polished to be a barn find just looks like someone has parked it up and thrown a bit of straw over it
heads up to the owner to go and have a look 'possible buyer' then return with the old bill
might be wrong thou....what do you think?

That's very strange. It looks like straw has been deliberately put over the engine
I would say to people here NOT to contact the ebay seller in-case he gets scared away. Wait until the lad who had his car nicked goes and see if it's his or not.

I see he sold a Porsche boxster for £3k! Shame I can't see the advert for it! Barn find Porsche boxster anyone?
The best thing the owner of this mk1 escort can do is bid £50k on it and go and repo it with the Feds! The police probably won't want to know and some twerp will buy it knowing exactly what it is and it'll prob disappear for good then.
I'd imagine the ebayer will get wind soon and pull the advert. Someone's bound to email him asking if he's got anymore stolen.. I mean.. barn finds!
