Afternoon
Hi all,
I'm extremely new to the Scooby world and complete virgin after transferring from many previous renaultsports to my first 2006 wrx sti.
Hopefully be picking her up next week. She's in black with the genuine PPP fitted by Subaru themselves. She has the blue and black suede/cloth interior with gold wheels. Looks very sexual
Anywho . . . I have a feeling these will have been asked several times accross the forum so if someone can re-direct me to those topics or posts and or tell me again i'd be grateful - I have a few questions. . .
*What is the best shcedule to keep too, to keep her in shape?! (Ie oil change at what intervals etc)
*What is the wheel offset of the gold 17s?
*What tyre size and tyres are best for everyday fast road use?
*I would like to get her lowered, so in peoples opinion - the best suspension set up, again for fast road, everyday use?!
*Final question - best place for parts and mods is . . . ?
Cheers guys n gals

Welcome to SNet
There are many threads on what you want to know with varied and detailed opinions on each of them. The best bet is to perform a search.
Oh yeah, the car is very sexual.

Hello and Welcome here.
Oil change is i think 7.5k on unmodded(some say 5k),on modded is 3k miles(if you are doing track days, plus after track days)
I think wheel offset is on 17" STi OE Alloys ET53
For fast road Vredestein,Falken FK452,TOYO T1R and lot more.
Best setup for fast road and lowering is KW V3(cost little bit more, but they're best),BC,Tein and HSD HR's are great too for money.I would recommend start with good springs and solid droplinks(CDF or Whiteline),Rear 22/24mm ARB(Anti roll bar)
Best start to mod yours is Decatted exhaust, panel Filter,Walbro pump 255lph,3 port boost solenoid and you should have 340-350bhp.

ScoobyClinic, Scoobyworld...in fact, something with scooby in the name
On the whole this is a very good forum so plenty of folk have the experience and knowledge to help out in terms of worthwhile mods which might point you in the right direction and save you a few £ along the way.
