My new Crystal Grey STI
After having done 65,000 in 3 1/2 years i sold my blue blob STI last summer for a old Jag XJS V12 ( was an itch i had to scratch ), btw if you think your car is juicy try an old jag for size and then come back to me
Anyway i sold the Jag at the start of May and began my search for anothe '05 spec STI, i wanted the 2 litre for it stronger engine, not needed now but going MD route when i have saved up enough pennies, I saw many cars advertised as minters that were more like munters ! When i saw this one down in Hants, It was a bog standard STI although the owner had been told by a main dealer it was a PPP car, i phoned the main dealer and they told me the same !!!! lying gits all it had was a Ninja back box (which i am selling if anyones interested and when i get my ar$e in gear and advertise it)
So i have done a light set of mods full 3" H&S decat (downpipe dei wrapped), fuel pump, green filter, Ngk's etc etc
Mapped at Surrey RR by Mr Roe it made 343bhp and 330 lb/ft on that one and only 35c monday a few weeks ago so pretty pleased given the temps
Any way a few pics for you after a fair bit of cleaning )
Good to be back !!

Really nice, out of interest mate how much did you pay for it and what's the current mileage? My old sti https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...and-photo.html seeing yours I wish I never sold mine. Rather than a jag I had an evo itch which I had to scratch.

Thanks fir the comments, I paid 8k for it about 2 months ago, not sure if that was too much but yhe money and condition was right for me
@ Stevie it does look very high in those pics, suspension is on the list of thing to do, as
for the rims I know what you mean they are oz seperleggera and was unsure when buying the car, I think Subarus look better with contrasting wheels having said that again ' in the flesh' they don't look as awkward on the car, but will probably go Anthracite/black gloss eventually
I am in the Maidstone area so if any one has a set of old prodrive springs taking up space I might interested
Tony

Looks great mate, as said some Prodrive springs would really finish the car nicely, I also have crystal grey and if your after some really bling wax have a look at the Dodo juice range its great for our colours especially "Light Fantastic" or "Supernatural"
