Just a note of caution....North Yorkshire Police have recently got a nice white Transit type van that sits in laybys. Keep your eyes open (or your speed down).
I would be suprised if they didn`t know about TOTB!

I'll be there. Probably hanging around team 22b. I'll be the one hobbling like an old man as I've just had surgery on my knee

I feel your pain mate .

Had two ACL reconstructions in my teens but always suffered from an unstable knee.

Had a meniscectomy nearly 2 weeks ago and the surgeon said to me post op "I know why your knee has never been stable", whys that I replied, "becuase they've put the ACL graft in completely the wrong place".

So I'm now due to undergo a 3rd ACL recon and meniscus transplant in the next month or two. Great.

Gotta love doctors huh. Had 2 goes at it when I was younger and still managed to **** it up .

Had the same operations mate. One 10years ago which was successful and still fine, then I played football 3 years ago and torn the ACL in the other leg, left it for a year or so, and after trying to play football and keep falling over in pain I eventually went to the GP who just shook his head and gave me antibiotics to get the swelling down as he couldnt see anything for the mass of fluid on the knee, I went back 3 weeks later and he said I should have reported this sooner I said I did 3 weeks ago, he meant like 12mths ago as I have serious damaged my knee by not seeing professional advice sooner. So MRI later I was told that the knee cap lining was fecked, my cartlidges need removing, my kne cap is out of line, and the ACL is in two . So all bar the ACL was done on the first op in July last year, I recovered and went for the ACL recon in Nov. By March im back to normal and by May Im back at the Gym and all bar kneeling im back t normal Just need to get my fitness back now and loose a few lb's. You'll be right mate, get the knee ACL re-done

Sorry for any typo's im on my ohone

Will say "Hi" on Sunday, Matt. I fancied doing Saturday night at Steven's, but, SWTSMBO doesn't fancy camping.

Well I have to say that a big thank you to the cars that were running, and congratulations to Lateral (I think). I left at the 4wd Final so I wasnt sure of the overall standings.

Overall I think the crowd is getting smaller, and also what happened to the events enclosed in an email I got from TOTB

Hello Robert Day,

As you're no doubt aware, this year will welcome TEN years of shredding rubber at Elvington. Ten of The Best X celebrates ten years of the tuner car community event and this year is no exception, featuring all the usual thrills and spills, we also have a large marquee/party tent with a bar and entertainment thoughout the weekend, we also have the Vertical Trix stunt guys putting on some of their amazing displays. The regular features from the past few years as well as Rally car driving experiences and much more. We hope to see you all there and we would like to thank YOU, the community, with out you all this event would not even exist. The website has gone through some more changes over the past year as we have listened to the community requests and also added some great feature, including the tuner car social network, all logged in members have access to their own page where you can upload your own images and post messages and make connections with other tuner car enthusi asts, teams, drivers and much more. We also have a LIVE CHATROOM, log in and click the chatroom link on the left and enter the room where you can meet up with the TOTB community and chat safe behind the public view in our private room. We hope you have a safe journey to the event, tickets are on sale for competition entries and day or weekend passes, camping zones are provided again for those that wish to stay at the event for the weekend!

We hope to see you all there...

Was I wrong here to pressume that at Lunch time there would be some Bike entertainment, and also the opportunity to be a passnager in a rally car?
