Wow that hurts. A year ago i reversed into my sisters mint xr2 (completly original with 10K on the clock) it really was not the proudest moment of my life but you learn not to be complacent in a car this way

I backed into my security post recently was in a rush but luckily just crazed the paint slightly on the bumper so can get it sorted cheap, biggest problem I had was the embarrassment of it, hopefully if you can find a boot correct colour won't cost to much,

gutted for you mate, sti bootlids (without spoiler) can be bought for circa £50, respray roughly £100, fit old spolier and lock to new shiny bootlid, avoid skips, job done

I know how you feel!
I had my beloved Integrale Evo and was leaving this car park. I didn't notice one of those black-painted concrete/metal posts (that look like a 'mini lighthouse') and turned too tight a turning circle...
Cue awful metal-ripping sound - I had dented in the whole of the nearside (driver side, remember ). I felt almost physically sick. The side of the car looked like it had a huge wrecking ball slam into it!
The bodyshop did a wicked job on it though...
