Default Leake Street aka Banksy Tunnel Graffiti

Anyone know anything about Leake Steet aka Banksy Tunnel, London, with all the Graffiti? Theres a Car Wash there, For Your Cars Only.

Was wondering, as I'm visiting my gf's nu place in Camberely, whether a trip would be worth while for a wash n wax and possible the chance of taking a few snaps?

Thanks guys!

It's kept in a multistorey carpark overnight that is part of the block of flats that I'm staying in and I can actually see through the flat door's peephole, across the corridor, out the window and theres the car, probably less than 10m away, while I'm sleeping in bed! If the alarm goes off, with the echo of the carpark I'd like to think I'd wake up along with the rest of the block flats lol! (and yes locking wheel nuts are on for good measure!!) Really hope my rims are still there come tomorrow morning now!

yeah thats the place, thats the thread that gave me the idea!

just wondering whether anyone can kinda go along park up and take pics, is it a dodgy area etc?

any one have any experience having taken pics there, and is the car wash any good lol, would be helpful!

I've been researching waiting for the gf to get back from work! I've even found pics of a standard nova photographed there, so kinda guessing its all gd!

Any tips?

Cheers

I think alot of clubs are avoiding it at the moment due to car Jackings and muggings. Saw something about it on a mini forum.

Does look great in there though will go myself if it is safe to do so.

Bit worried now, just want to have a car wash and get sum snaps with an awesome back drop! But seems like I'll either get that or lose the car and possibly get hurt too!??? Seems a lot to risk for a few pics!? Anyone else have any thoughts on this or any safer pic locations in the London area whilst I'm not too far away! Many thanks

ok, so decided to go this evening and scout it out before heading in.... but having made the 35mile trip in the pissing rain and hitting a fair bit of traffic, they've dug the road up all along the front of it so theres no way of driving to the tunnel ! Instead took a scenic tour round London to heading back to Camberley! Couldn't even get a pic or two as car is filthy and was pissing down! Nvm! Will head back soon.

That was my thread when me and Nash went there....

Had no troubles and the little carwash inside seemed to do a load of business...

I would probably go with a couple of people just to be on the safe side...

next time you go give me a shout ( i only live in yateley)...me and Nash will be up for going back again
