Default HELP FINDING JDM SUBARU 380 TO 400+BHP

My mate was gonna buy a hawkeye rb320 at £17800 his budget in cash was 20k he has more dew to his grandpa passing away think he got a house and 60k cash .there was a rb 320 in black at our local dealer but he likes them in blue (don,t we all)
i told him they only came in black 100% sure.

THEN i remember watching filth gear or top gear about a company who inport jdm hawkeye sti`s rebuild them to 380 or 400+ bhp uprated brakes exhaust and so on they cost over 22k or a bit more but then he wouldnt have to spend anything on it as it was all done (maybe wheels lol)

i thought it was called something like fq 400 but that comes up on google as evo only then i looked at fr400 and nothing again .

can anyone help

when i watched the programme i thought if i had the money i would buy one as it seemed really good with all the upgrades and 400bhp to boot

thanks fellow scooby nuts :-)

No, that was the Litchfield Type-25. Over 22k? By about 20k

Not many around, but you might be lucky. The Hawkeyes had the Cosworth engine.

That's a 400hp STi rather than a T20/25 Tony ...

Just to bring some clarity to this thread..... (as I can see the guy getting confused)

The only car that has been reviewed on Fifth Gear was the TYPE-25. Different beast compared to the TYPE-20 (also by Litchfields). Don't confuse the two. Look on Litchfields website for information on the two versions.

The one currently For Sale on the Litchfield site is a normal JDM STI - not a TYPE-20 / 25.

A couple of those JDM Hawks have been for sale on here recently for 12-13k would it be the extra 5-6k litchfield are asking to get those cars to 400bhp?

Without comparing individual vehicles that would be one reason, together with the fact that you're buying a car with the added support from Litchfield themselves as a retail outlet.

Its the Spec C converted to a Type 25 so as a Spec C it comes with a 12ltr water tank for the intercooler water spray (remembering that these cars have auto and manual ic sprays).

Tony

PS, you can buy the type 20 handling package off Iain if you wanted to for that JDM STI

No discredit to the type 25 which is only a performance pack which all tunners can offer (just nit as good as litcho). So yes your correct you can't compare the two as the S204 is a factory special which rolled of the production line crafted by Sti Engineers. It wasn't built in tawksbury by a British tuner .
