Cant seem to get this metal bit to stay on, what am i doing wrong????



Otherside done and fine whereas this side just keeps pinging off????

The end of it has to be fitted under the the top retaining pin,
Pull pin back out, push spring down, push pin back in.
Hope this helps

 

do you mean like kinda hooks over the top of it???? because thats what im doing and it springs off??...

is it possible that its just bent out of shape at the top (the circle curve)????

It might have. They don't normally ping back out.

Looks like all it needed was a little bit of "persuasion" as its now in place thanks guys!

Ive pulled on it just to make sure, but what would happen if it came off whilst driving????? (its made me worry abit now!!!)
