Lol, just ignore them mate.

They are the kind of people who'd run a mile if they ever met you face-to-face.
Amazing how brave some people get behind the safety of a keyboard.

Tut tut Dunx a schoolboy error at the end there. 'Yours' already indicates possession so the apostrophe is unecessary.

Tosser through and through! Any bloke denies it then he's lying.

Poor rather than bad ? And as I'm well into my 50's I've forgotten more about grammar than they teach kids today...

Hi Stu,

I'm knackered from cycling to/from work, it's been five weeks now, can't wait till Alan Jeffery does his magic with the engine build !

It's been pretty quiet up here since the spat within the WYIOC, but I hoping things calm down as the club gains a few new members to get some interest going.

GLWTS as well !

Agree with OP, but, with a little bit of common sense it's easy to ignore the numpties on here, i know it's also easy to get reeled in by them as well though!

I've only ever met a few fellow snetters when i've bought stuff off them (add another one later today ) but the wealth of advice available to lesser mortals like myself far outways the trolls on here.

Long Live Scoobynet! Don't know where i'd be without it...honestly don't.

theres tossers on every forum but i found out if i ever wanted to know something important like recently i needed to know some wiring information on my 05 interior swap.
i did a search on here and found someone who had actually done it and pm them, that way you avoid tossers who have never done it,have no idea how to do it but read somewhere a guy in south iraq couldnt wire it up so therefore it cant be done!!!
there are loads of genuine helpfull people on here and a few tossers with nothing better to do

Totally agree Stu. SO clicquey on here too. If you're not one of the small handful who all know each other's business, all have your car's mapped by the same mapper, go to the same meets, all know each other's wives names, then you're 'just an outsider'.........and yet these very people expect me to wave to them, just because I drive the same car as them??? Yet on here they don't even acknowledge me because we haven't met.....yet?

Sooo true what I learnt in my Psychology degree......''humans are well know for forming packs, otherwise known as cliques''

In the 8 years I have been on here, (and 7 Impreza's later), I have met in person maybe 3-4 really decent, genuine people, one of them being Richard, my superb mechanic.

Scoobynet (in MY experience) can often be a cold, unfriendly website, unless you are ''known''.

Default Free up the mind

The forum is like life, not all good and not all bad.
But without members it will die a slow death.
So please agree to disagree, at least it keeps the posts up!
In my short time on here it has been great edutainment, and there is nothing wrong with ranting! At least it is then aired and hopefully finished off!
Despite my long term obsession with the AWD flat four I was a Scoobie Newbie and subject to the usual who are you? What you doing here?
Where i live has to be the Scoob capital of the UK, so many WRX, STI models trundling about, but the post with the member that converted the GL to a turbo by ripping everything off one vehicle and transplanted it onto the less rusty one shows what you can do with a vision and little cash.
Shame about the insurance costs though, like with motor bikes, the age of affordable ownership is in the hands of the companies who asess the risk.
You only get one shot at life, so enjoy it!

i have done all the mods to my car myself and without doubt i would not have been able to do it without the help of scoobynet that is why i am a paid member to show my support.
theres idiots everywhere just ignore them!!!
maybe the problem with scoobynet is it covers such a large amount of models it can be harder to find the exact info you need, thats why if i had anything too technical i pm people who have done it to avoid the wrong info from keyboard warriors

TBH I know next to nothing about classic Imprezas, mine went over nine years ago, so I rarely reply to such a query on here.

A general wiring question, then maybe.

I've met maybe 20 or so people who use this site and only one was a proper tool, who threatened to come round and punch me, but maybe I deserved it

So on one hand you expect people to be polite to you, but you dont want to be polite to people who have the audacity to wave at you?

how very dare they! lol

so really you are just as bad as the people you are moaning about?

I agree but its no different than in normal everyday life imo there's always someone that can get on your nerves,i never understand some of the snobbery you can get between owners of different models on here though
