I don't even know the bloke but that did make me lol.

If you don't put yourself out there you will never meet people.
Most are generally nice people if you give them a chance.
As for putting crap on for sale threads. WHY! Unless you intend to buy.

Look at MSOC, all on first name terms, they even cook for each other at their private meets.............where does it say anywhere on their posts ''we welcome new members?'' (I live in Middlesex by the way)

I personally just come on here either to enquire about or to give information regarding Impreza's...........and that suits me perfectly............although it would be nice one day to actually meet in person some of nice people I talk to on here.
Greg,

I've been on here ten years, was at the first MSOC meet and am one of the ones on first name terms with wives and girlfriends. None of my cars have ever been rated either so don't take it personally.
The MSOC has an open door policy, no official membership requirements and doesn't charge anything. No we don't state anywhere that "new members are welcome" but why would you feel that they are not?
In this thread https://www.scoobynet.com/middlesex-...-the-msoc.html were you not made to feel welcome?
Look forward to seeing you at a meet soon

Amazing how brave some people get behind the safety of a keyboard.

As has been said. Not everyone off here are ****.

I live in Surrey, but grew up in Feltham,Middlesex and tend to join in as much as I can in the MSOC threads.

I've met a few of the MSOC and can honestly say what a wicked bunch they are welcoming etc.

Join in the fun Gregg.

Scoobynet is just like school or work i guess.

You don't choose who else is on here.... some people you'll hate, and will really **** you off.

But make the effort (ie don't be a ****) and you'll meet and get to know some really nice people.

I've met many people off here, and am pleased to be able to call lots of them friends.

Gregg I have to agree with Monkey here as i have had 4 scooby's but only been a member on here for a couple of years. I am proud to say that I am a member of MSOC and have been made to feel welcome since day one.
Mate come along to one of the MSOC meets and i'm sure you will feel welcomed as I did at my first meet.
