Default 2007 07 Hawkeye STI type UK - can it come with leather?

Hi Guys,

Wondered if someone could help please!

Im looking to at an Impreza thats at a local (private) dealer. The model is a grey 2007 (07) Hawkeye WRX Sti Type UK but it has leather interior? From what I knew these only came with the bright blue alacantra and ONLY the spec D's came with the black leather? Am I mistaken? (BTW its defo the above model as i've looked over the logbook and paperwork etc...)

Also I noticed this has black Brembo brakes (white writing) did they not all come with gold brembo's?

I thought I knew about all the different variations but this has confused me! :s Any clarification on model variants would be greatly appreciated here.

Thanks very much

i have a 06 hawk sti ( type uk ) and it also has full leather interior and a velvet kinda lined roof and pillars with a sti pink rear parcel shelf.
Insurance company told me this was a factory option when built. So nothing to worry about in other words and ive never met another with them so they seem somewhat rare.
Anyways they comfy

Cheers Pramas - so not abnormal or anything to worry about then eh?

Strangely it hasn't got all the pink sti badges all over it, and also has fog lights (which i believe the normal STI type UK's don't have right?)

Seems to be some way between a SpecD and a TypeUK?

Heres some piccys:

seats seem slightly diff to mine, mine are stiched with sti pink thread ( like your handbrake is ) and a pink sti emboss about head height, doubt its anything to worry about prob just 1 of many options.
As for the spotlamps mine doesnt have them so unfortuanltey i cant help you on that 1, it does have a resembalance to spec d though which is equiped with spot lamps. Maybe the last owner was trying to replicate the look

Spec D's have gold Brembo's AFAIK and that also looks like a Jap A-line boot lip spoiler........Looks like someone has tried to make the car look like a Spec d ??

It's not a Spec D as it doesn't have Satnav or gold Brembos. As above, STI Limited. Nice subtle car. What mods does it have under the bonnet?

Are the brakes a down option from the Brembo's then?

Same brakes, just in black - which would have been more in keeping for the Spec D.

Its an STi Ltd.

Yeah I know what you mean! But I do love the gold Brembo's, I'm sure you get people staring at them down motorways and stuff, makes me laugh!

DEFINITELY a STi Limited......as I have one!

As someone else said, only 25 of them in the country, and I believe only came in silver, grey and black!

Love mine to bits......as it's VERY understated.

Thanks for the response guys, really helpful for me as I know little about these

STiLtd - as you have one would you mind running me through the differences between these and the normal STI UK's please? Still 270bhp? Does it have heated seats?

Cheers!

Ummmm.....lemme see if I can recall......

Little (boot lip) spoiler
Silver Enkei wheels
Black Brembos
Front Fogs
Leather interior
Black carpets
Different colour centre console
Only came in black, silver and urban grey I believe
Only 25 exist

Don't think I've missed anything.....although I've no doubt someone will jump in if I have.....

Nope, no heated seats.....the WRX SL(?) did though!

Engine, gearbox etc. exactly the same as the standard STi.

I know what you mean.....I struggled to find out much about them when I bought mine.

The States got more of them.....and in a wider choice of colours (or should that be colors? ).

Personally, I think it's a damn nice car, that certainly gets less unwanted attention.

Rumour has it, they were never destined for the UK.....and were only given to a dew dealers. I've got a copy of the advert somewhere....I'll see if I can find it and scan it!

I didnt know these existed, well every days a schoolday.
Iwould love to own a hawk eye like that as an everyday and motorway car, very subtle and comfy but without the LOOK AT ME!! from a normal sti.

Could almost call it a sleeper

Nope, it had the standard European 2.5l engine, and it does have the type UK badges.

It's kind of a cross between a standard STI, a spec D and a WRX SL.....
