For anyone in the know guys

Do the miltek systems come with a lifetime warranty,as the one on my hatch sti has started rusting through near where the tail pipes join the rear silencer

I know the tsl systems have a good warranty,but not really sure on the miltek jobbies as it was already fitted to my car when purchased

Lifetime warranty i believe only applys to the original person who purchased the exhaust. That said well worth a phone call. Might be worth going via a milltek supplier as i know when a friend had a claim on his he had to take his car to a milltek distributer to have the fault confirmed. Good luck

As above, lifetime warranties generally only apply to the original buyer, once sold on then expire, worth a try though as you have nothing to loose.

not the best pictures,but i was crawling under the car with my mobile,just where the tail pipe clamps to the backbox,its corroded through at the collar

That is very bad, looks like joints are welded with mild steel wire, not good for the price they go for, glad I didn't go for one now

I'm not overly impressed at all,I didn't buy it as it came with the car,but the weld has gone like this within 2 years maximum going by the cars age

If I ever buy a new system for the hatch sti,I will stick with what I know,hopefully keith at revolution can get some joy from milltek for me

Iv always said they got sh&te build quality, Iv had a couple
The Jap exhausts are far better made & better quality IMO
