I would check the bolts holding the manifolds onto the head and maniford to the exhaust system are tight - usually, if they are leaking you can hear a ticking sound. This would be my first thought.

First check that you do not have a slight oil leak from the cam cover on to the hot exhaust. You will never find oil on the floor as a small drip of oil will come from the cam cover on to the hot exhaust and burn away/evaporate but this is a regular cause of slight smoke and smell.
Other than that, check your header to uppipe and uppipe to turbo connections. At the same time you can check the accessible bolts/nuts on the rear of the turbo to downpipe.

Unlikely but possible. I think cam cover is #1 suspect.
